The International Labour Organisation (ILO), would launch its Global Employment Trends for Youth 2015 report on Thursday, October 8, at 1100 hours at the Palace of Nations, Geneva, Switzerland.
The ILO in a statement issued and copied to the Ghana News Agency over the weekend said the report provides the latest global and regional figures on youth employment, as well as the quality of employment in both developed and developing countries.
The study also provides policy proposals, including suggestions based on lessons learned on what’s worked in youth employment interventions around the world.
The statement said a media briefing by Azita Berar-Awad, Director of the ILO’s Employment Department and Sara Elder, lead author of the report, would be held, at the launch.
