The bilateral cooperation in education under the Brazil-Ghana Cooperation framework has yielded fruitful results over the years and this has been demonstrated with the record of 26 scholarships offered to Ghanaian students in 2014 – the highest since the inception of the programme in 1965. Last year, only 12 Ghanaian Students were awarded scholarships under the same programme.

Upon graduating, these students are expected to return to Ghana and contribute to the development of the nation.
