Players and technical teams of Ghana’s Black Stars and Guinea were subjected to vigorous screening at the Tamale Airport for the Ebola virus.
A team of doctors led by Dr Patrick Bampoh, Medical doctor in charge of the Tamale Central hospital screened the Guinean players and their technical team who arrived in Tamale yesterday morning for their second leg encounter against Black Stars, who held them to a 1-1 draw last Saturday in Morocco.
The Black Stars who received a rousing welcome to Tamale for the encounter were also screened.
The Black Stars who had earlier scheduled to meet the Northern Regional Minister and some chiefs in the Metropolis had to be cancelled because they arrived late and needed to train.
The Guineans who arrived in the morning are already acclimatizing with the Tamale weather.
The Black Stars will be training this evening at the Tamale Sports Stadium while the Guineans would be training at the Northern School of Business (NORBISCO) park.
