Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur has arrived in Abidjan, Ivory Coast to participate in the Golden Jubilee celebrations and Annual General Meeting of the African Development Bank (AfDB).
More than 2,500 delegates, including Heads of State, Central Bank Governors and Finance Ministers are attending.
Apart from reviewing the bank’s operations, the meeting would also deliberate on issues such as trade and regional integration, infrastructure, job creation, good governance and development of the continent’s private sector.
Speaking to reporters on arrival in Abidjan, Vice President Amissah-Arthur acknowledged the AfDB as “a good African success story” which has been instrumental in providing policy advice and helped with the development of infrastructural projects among others.
