The driving force for any media organization especially in sub Saharan Africa should be its ability to positively impact on the society within which it operates and beyond. This force has been the hallmark of Diplomatic Call, Ghana’s foremost and only media hub in Ghana for all information on Ghana’s Diplomatic and International Relations as well as the developmental activities and initiatives of International/Foreign Investments and Businesses in Ghana in past two years of its operation.
Not only have Diplomatic Call fed its cherished and humble audience with up to date information from within its focal areas through its newspaper publication, website and television program and social media, but have also provided opportunities and information on potential networking opportunities, summits, events and forums in which players and businesses within a particular sector in the country can participate to meet world’s leading stakeholders to deliberate, negotiate and conclude on agreements necessary to drive the developmental agenda of the country for both government and private business entities.
In that regard, a partnership has been initiated between Oliver Kinross, an internationally operating business research organization with its headquarters in the United Kingdom, for the 3rd Africa Healthcare Summit to take place in London on the 26th and 27thofFebruary.
The summit will bring together Ministries of Health, Ministries of Finance, International Investors, Medical Distributors, Hospital CEOs and Directors and many more Key Stake Holders together to discuss the developments and achievements in recent African Healthcare projects and reach conclusions about where to move next within African healthcare investment projects.
As such, Diplomatic Call as the sole media organization in Ghana to be a partner and part of the summit is to drive the summit’s agenda to the government, international investors in Ghana, key players and businesses within the medical and health industries to seize the opportunity in participating to reap the benefits and impact the African Healthcare Summit will exert on Ghana’s health and healthcare development plan for both the government and private health businesses.
This partnership is also an indication of the growing UK Ghana relations not only at the government to government level but also within private businesses in the two countries.
The Managing Editor of Diplomatic Call, Mr. Seth Owusu Mante is optimistic; the 3rd Africa Healthcare Summit can be a turning point for all aspects of the health sector in Ghana. He therefore called on the government to delegate and sponsor not only governmental appointees but also include representatives from growing and successful health facilities to participate in this historical event.
On her part, KaltrinaKastrati from the Marketing Department of expressed her appreciation of Diplomatic Call’s urge to drive participants for the Africa Healthcare summit and was enthusiastic of the summit’s prospective for positively adding up to Ghana’s health sector.
