Starting on December 08, 2014, members of Emirates Skywards frequent flyer programme would be able to earn Skywards Miles when traveling on S7 flights and could redeem their Skywards Miles for reward flights on S7 in economy and business classes, an official statement said.
Members of S7’s frequent flyer programme Priority could also earn and redeem Miles when flying with Emirates to one of its 147 destinations in 84 countries in either economy or business class.
Brian LaBelle, Senior Vice President of Emirates Skywards, in a statement issued to the GNA stated: “Emirates is committed to providing its passengers with more connections and choice by not only expanding its routes but by also building strong partnerships with other carriers.
“Consequently, our loyal Emirates Skywards members will benefit from more options for earning and redeeming their reward miles through our frequent flyer programme and now with partner S7 in Russia. We also look forward to welcoming S7 Priority members on board our flights, and providing them with more rewarding access to our extensive route network.”
Anton Eremin, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the S7 Group said: “We are glad to announce this partnership with Emirates which allows members of S7 Priority earn and redeem miles flying with one of the best airlines in the world. Our route networks connect in some of the biggest airports – so some of our passengers have already met the highest standards of Emirates’ service.”
“From now on these flights will be awarded with S7 Priority miles. Passengers of Emirates will get more benefits flying with S7 Airlines across the widest route network within Russia, as well as on flights to Europe, Asia and others”.
Members of both programmes would earn Miles when flying with the partner airline depending on distance, class of travel booked and fare paid, the statement said.
