Goldstar Airlines on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 announced the postponement of its maiden flight to various destinations.
Mr. Eric Bannerman, Chief Executive Officer of the airline, said the suspension was due to an unforeseen paperwork delay.
“That makes it difficult and beyond our control,” Mr. Bannerman said in an interview with Ghana News Agency on Wednesday.
Mr. Bannerman assured the traveling public that the airline would be introducing three new baggage allowances, making it a total of 69 kilograms per passenger, excluding hand luggage to all its destinations as part of the package for the holiday season.
He said there would be a news conference in London, Maryland, Guangzhou and Accra to give the exact date of the maiden flight.
“We also wish to inform our numerous customers that arrangements have been finalized to make them feel at home on board with Ghanaian and Continental dishes, in addition to the privilege of hearing Ghanaian languages in Ga, Hausa, Akan and Ewe,” Mr. Bannerman said.
