The 2003 graduates of Adisadel College (Santa 03) will present a citation award to the school’s teaching and non-teaching staff on Saturday, March 8, 2014, as part of activities scheduled for the school’s 104th Speech and Prize Giving Day.
The group enrolled at Adisadel College thirteen years ago in 2001 and graduated from the college eleven years ago in 2003. The group currently boasts professionals from various fields, including education, medicine, oil and gas, banking and insurance, law, engineering, security services, and mining, with many more currently pursuing postgraduate education.
For Santa 03, the training and education from Adisadel College, which they describe as second to none, has been their pivot in life after school. With the unparalleled experience from Adisadel College, group members stand tall wherever they find themselves as they continue to play, work, and pray hard to either be the first or with the first.
In light of this, the group has collectively agreed to give back to the college every year till it’s their turn to host the Speech and Prize Giving Day in 2028. Last year, the group working with the theme “Time Management, an Essential Tool for Success” presented thirty (30) Santa 03 branded wall clocks to the school worth GHC 3000. The clocks are to be placed at vantage points at the college to aid students in effectively managing their time and daily activities.
The group has agreed to celebrate the school’s teaching and non-teaching staff this year by presenting a citation award to the school. The citation, which will be the first of its kind presented to the college by any year group, will acknowledge the hard work and devotion of the teaching and non-teaching staff, management, PTA, and school board.
In a brief interview with Mr. Samuel Ekow Hagan, the group’s president, on the presentation to the school this year, he seized the opportunity to call on all 2003 college graduates who still need to register with the Group’s Secretariat to do so. He also called on other young year groups to consider giving back to the college and not wait until it’s their turn to host the school’s annual Speech and Prize Giving Day.
In addition to the citation for teaching and non-teaching staff, the group will also present a citation to the outgoing headmaster of the school, Dr. H K K Graham, in acknowledgment of his immense contribution and service to the development and improvement of the college and its students both morally and academically.
All roads lead to Adisadel College, Cape Coast, on March 8 to celebrate the college’s 104th Anniversary. The 2003-year group will arrive on the college premises on Friday, March 7, to interact with students and finalize their Speech Day presentation plans.
